My stay at Mammoth Boutique Hotel in Chiang Mai was fantastic. The location was superb, allowing easy access to temples and lovely cafes (I had breakfast at a great spot just around the corner). The only downside was some noise from the bar next door, but the owner warned me about it beforehand. Nevertheless, the overall experience was excellent!

The room I stayed in had a lot of tiny dead insects on the floor and a pretty strong sewer smell in the bathroom. It felt like the room needed a thorough clean beyond just a sweep of the visible areas, which was disappointing.

While the staff were nice and tried to address the issue with the bugs, the cleaning didn't meet expectations. I appreciated their effort but ultimately had to deal with the problem myself.

My stay at Mammoth Boutique Hotel was a mix of nice moments and frustrating issues. The location is great for exploring Chiang Mai's vibrant night markets, but it can get quite noisy with bar music nearby. While my room was clean and spacious, I encountered some unpleasant odors and a few insects during my stay, which detracted from the overall experience.

This hotel is in a great spot, just a short walk to the Sunday night market and surrounding eateries. However, it's also next to a bar that pumps out loud music late into the night, which can be disruptive for those looking for peace and quiet.
