My stay at Mammoth Boutique Hotel in Chiang Mai was fantastic. The location was superb, allowing easy access to temples and lovely cafes (I had breakfast at a great spot just around the corner). The only downside was some noise from the bar next door, but the owner warned me about it beforehand. Nevertheless, the overall experience was excellent!

The free use of the washing machine and laundry soap was a game-changer for me. It was the first hotel I stayed at that offered such amenities. Plus, the lovely fish pond in the courtyard added a charming touch.

My stay at Mammoth Boutique Hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The location was fantastic, right near the center with great restaurants and cafes nearby. However, I had some major issues with cleanliness in my room, which really put a damper on my experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in had a lot of tiny dead insects on the floor and a pretty strong sewer smell in the bathroom. It felt like the room needed a thorough clean beyond just a sweep of the visible areas, which was disappointing.
Service
5.0
While the staff were nice and tried to address the issue with the bugs, the cleaning didn't meet expectations. I appreciated their effort but ultimately had to deal with the problem myself.

You can't beat the location; it's in a vibrant part of town with easy access to the Sunday night market and plenty of dining options. This was definitely a highlight of my stay.

The hotel has a sweet setup with a garden and a free laundry room, which was super convenient. I liked having the option to do my laundry while enjoying the little fish pond nearby.

My stay at Mammoth Boutique Hotel was a mix of nice moments and frustrating issues. The location is great for exploring Chiang Mai's vibrant night markets, but it can get quite noisy with bar music nearby. While my room was clean and spacious, I encountered some unpleasant odors and a few insects during my stay, which detracted from the overall experience.

Rooms
5.0
I found the room to be clean and spacious, but there were times when a sewer smell would linger. Also, I noticed a few insects that I had to deal with myself.
Service
5.0
The service was okay, but I wished there was housekeeping to deal with some of the issues in the room. The initial cleaning did not meet my expectations.
Location
7.0
The hotel is perfectly situated for those wanting to explore Chiang Mai. It's within walking distance to many great restaurants and markets.
Dining
5.0
I didn't focus much on dining at the hotel. However, the area has plenty of local eateries worth trying.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities included nice high ceilings and a cute little garden, but there could be more amenities. For instance, having a more robust room service or laundry service would be beneficial.

I had a mixed experience at the Mammoth Boutique Hotel. The location is super convenient with great restaurants and cafes nearby, which is a huge plus. My room was beautifully decorated and felt luxurious, but I did encounter some issues with cleanliness and noise from a bar next door. Overall, I wouldn't say it was terrible but could use some improvements.

Rooms

The Queen Room I stayed in was stunning, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light. However, I noticed some cleanliness issues, as it was littered with tiny dead insects and had a sewer smell in the bathroom. Despite these drawbacks, the room was generally nice and well-equipped.
Service
5.0
The service was okay, but the lack of housekeeping made things a bit difficult. Additionally, any requests I had didn't seem to be addressed thoroughly, especially concerning the cleaning of my room.
Location

This hotel is in a great spot, just a short walk to the Sunday night market and surrounding eateries. However, it's also next to a bar that pumps out loud music late into the night, which can be disruptive for those looking for peace and quiet.
Dining

I didn't dine at the hotel itself, but the surrounding area is packed with excellent spots. I found some great places for sashimi nearby, which I definitely enjoyed!
Facilities

Facilities like the free laundry room with soap were a nice touch! I appreciated being able to do my laundry easily during my stay, but the overall upkeep could use some attention.
